Le Yaca
The hotel Le Yaca is tucked away in the historic village of Saint-Tropez, just a stone's throw away from the port and La Ponche beach. A 5-stars haven of peace that offers an extremely pleasant stay. Calm, luxury and refinement are the watchwords of this charming establishment that our guests like to return to as soon as spring returns.
Art is part of the history of Le Yaca, which began in 1722. Two centuries later, Philippe Tallien {former dancer at the Ballets de Monte-Carlo} purchased the establishment and transformed the residence into an elegant hotel visited by Orson Wells Rita Hayworth, Greta Garbo and Prince Ali Khan, it was visited by a succession of big names and still today, great fashion designers, actors and artists from all over the world.
These magnificent rooms reflect the identity of Le Yaca style, but each one expresses a unique personality through a detail of furniture, decoration, and objects of curiosity.
They were created under the leadership of Monica Damonte who wished to combine modernity whilst respecting the historic identity of Le Yaca.

At the foot of the Citadel, stands Le Yaca, a majestic and charming 18th-century residence where old stonework and a Mediterranean garden are beautifully combined.
The warm summer heat, large parasols, a beautiful flowery garden with palm trees and cactuses, sunlight sparkling on the water in the pool and cool hundred-year-old stones, all beneath a deep blue sky. The Italian cuisine served at Le Patio reflects the relaxing, peaceful and joyful surroundings. In the garden, where you will find the pool, harmonious lighting positioned around the house, forged iron chairs dressed in white, to create a cool evening atmosphere.
Le Yaca stands proudly around the pool and garden. With water, stone and greenery, the living heart of the hotel creates a special atmosphere that's relaxing, cool, peaceful and timelessly elegant.
The buildings that make up Le Yaca and the garden combine as one. They represent decades, even centuries, of care and attention so that each tree and plant holds a place in this harmonious composition, which includes cactuses, fig trees, pepper plants, a superb weeping willow, and flower-filled stone bowls. The various garden features, such as a giant palm tree standing at the centre of the pool, combine with the various floors of the hotel to create shaded areas and peaceful corners. Le Yaca is a hotel like no other!
