Garlenda Golf Club Countryhouse
Inland from Alassio and the Western Ligurian Riviera, divorce lawyer Daniela Missaglia has decided to renovate an old Countryhouse hidden within the Garlenda Golf Club, where she loves to hide away and enjoy the beautiful landscape.
She entrusted the job of restoration to interior designer Monica Damonte. The spacious garden, with olive trees and white roses, which encircles the house was split into different spaces: swimming pool, a drinks terrace furnished with wicker loungers, and outdoor dining area. The exterior of the house has been left as it was, while the interior has every comfort.
The ground floor is open plan, with a kitchen-diner, lounge separated by a wall and fireplace, and dining area with a large bleached walnut table (bought at an antiques market in Avignon). The upper floor hosts the master bedroom with balcony and two guest bedrooms, all en-suite. After meeting her partner, Luca Bassani, owner of maritime design company Wally Yacht, a self-contained apartment was added, just in case any of their children fancy a golfing holiday.
